The EDCTP Forum is a biennial event that provides an international platform for the presentation and discussion of frontier research to address the burden of neglected, infectious, poverty-related diseases (PRDs), as well as capacity development and networking activities to support these goals.
The forum has developed into one of the major conferences on PRDs in Africa attracting a diverse audience, including representatives from research institutions and universities, the larger scientific community, health care providers, governments, regional bodies, regulators, civil society and public and private research and development partners.
The Eighth EDCTP Forum will be held from 6-9 November in Lusaka, Zambia. The Forum is co-hosted by the Zambian Ministry of Health and will take place at the Government Complex conference centre. The multidisciplinary nature of the conference will gather more than 500 representatives from different regions and research fields, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and to highlight and promote key activities of your institution, organisation or company to a targeted audience while contributing to EDCTP’s mission and conference goals.
EDCTP invites submission of abstracts for original and innovative contributions to EDCTP-relevant research. Investigators involved in EDCTP-funded projects, in particular, are encouraged to use this opportunity to share new developments and results from their projects. The deadline for abstracts is 4 July 2016.
The Eighth EDCTP Forum expects to welcome approximately 600 delegates.
- A personal address (Institution/Company or private) and email address for each delegate must be provided during the registration process.
- Multiple registrations with the same email address will not be accepted by the system.

Registration for self-paying delegates will be confirmed after payment for registration fee is received.
