On the morning of 28th June 2016, the European Commission will host an open Info Day dedicated to Societal Challenge 2 of the Horizon 2020 programme, 'Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry, Marine, Maritime and Inland Water Research and the Bioeconomy.' The focus of the Info Day will be on the work programme for the year 2017. The registration to the Info Day is now open.
Following the Info Day, on the afternoon of 28th June 2016, there will be a corresponding Brokerage Event organised by the EU-funded BioHorizon project. Offered free of charge, the purpose of the brokerage event is to help you find the right partners for the upcoming 2017 calls. The official opening of 2017 calls is planned for October 2016, and the first deadlines will be in February of 2017, making this the perfect opportunity to start building your consortium.The main part of the event will comprise bilateral meetings between wide spectrum of companies, universities and researchers, stakeholders from Europe and beyond interested in the same call topics.
Registration to the Brokerage Event will be open until 6th June or limit reached.
Following successful registration for the event, participants can pre-arrange these bilateral meetings automatically by means of a sophisticated, user-friendly match-making tool based on the profiles and research interests recorded in the system by participants. The event will also provide participants a platform to present their project ideas in 5 minute presentations.
